Abstract:
Objective of the current study is to identify impact of the interactive and static infographic on social media in awareness university youth about symptoms of the emerging COVID -19 and ways to prevent it. This study belongs to descriptive studies. The study used the method of media survey in the sample, where it applied to a sample of 400 individuals from university youth from Kafr El-Sheikh University, as a public university and Pharos University as a private university. The study used an electronic questionnaire tool to collect data from the study sample. Among the most important findings of the study: - The increase in the number of respondents who follow the infographic provided by social networking sites, where the percentage of those who follow several times a day was 45.2%, those who follow up once a day 43.3%, and the percentage of those who do not follow 11.6%. - About 49.7% of individuals benefited very much from the information and news provided by the Corona virus included in the interactive and static infographic on social media, 33.5% benefited greatly, and 10.5% benefited to a moderate degree. - About 48.5% of the sample individuals have a high level of health awareness as a result of relying on interactive and constant infographics to obtain information about the Coronavirus, and 45.5% of them have a medium health awareness level, and 6% of them have low health awareness.
