Abstract:
In this study, the researcher addressed the role of the media in managing global conflict. This is done by identifying what conflict management is, what is the role of the media in managing this conflict, what are the factors that must be analyzed and which affect the effectiveness of the conflict management efforts, and what are the strategies and communication methods used in conflict management efforts. The study aimed to identify the concept of conflict communications, its means, and its various capabilities, especially in light of the communications revolution, and to benefit from the experiences of the developed countries on this concern. The impact of demographic, ethnic, cultural, and ideological variables affecting conflict management was also identified, as well as the role of the media in global conflict management.
