Abstract:
Disciplinary values and ethical rules within any institution represent a general approach that security institutions adhere to in the exercise of their profession and function to maintain security, protect lives and property, control crime before it occurs, track down the perpetrators after its occurrence, and apply the law to everyone equally.
Security institutions strive to provide their security services to the community within the limits established by the law and what the security institution’s policy has drawn from disciplinary values, considerations, and controls that all employees adhere to in order to achieve justice among all and show respect among the employees of the security institution, as everyone is committed to disciplinary rules and regulations.
This also leads to the community members feeling complacent, tolerant, and not arrogant on the part of the security establishment’s employees over any individual in the community during their dealings with the security men or when they frequent the security establishments to fulfill their services and requests. On the security institution, with dealing with open arms, honesty and transparency, the inevitable result is the society's satisfaction with its employees and their increased confidence in it and their comfort in dealing with them, and thus the behavioral, professional and ethical security rules and standards have brought the desired fruits, which is the management of the security institution with the efficiency of its men for the benefit of its employees and the community benefit.
From here, the research problem is determined by identifying the role that disciplinary values play in preparing the security man for the benefit of the security institution and he himself personally, and also for the benefit of the entire society.
The researcher used the descriptive approach, which relies on reviewing studies related to the subject of the research and collecting and analyzing data. The researcher used many basic research tools, including: scientific literature related to research, research studies and scientific theses, and the international information network (the Internet).
The research concluded:
1- The research showed that the educational activities carried out by young people in the childhood stage within the educational institution have a great impact on the development of security awareness in the child, through which he can reach the desired goals and aspirations that may not be achieved by what is taught to him according to the reality of the curriculum and the curriculum. It is also beneficial to the school, as through security awareness, the use of violence or dealing with it is reduced between students and quarrels that would threaten or undermine security within the educational institution. It establishes security within the community.
2- The moral values included in the ethical charter for public service rank first in being the main reference for those in charge of social work service in terms of the necessity of applying it and adhering to its content at the time of performing their profession, and the security apparatus that works in society and to serve society is one of the social service institutions, and deals Disciplinary, ethical, professional and behavioral values with members of society have a good impact and a noble return on the agency in achieving its desired goal, which is to spread security, tranquility and stability throughout the homeland.
3- The research revealed interest in security education and focus on social security, which is the basis of security. The individual within society derives his feeling of strength, safety and stability from the stability of the society in which he lives in safety and security. It showed that stress at work may lead to fear, which is the opposite of security or lead to frustration that leads to failure, which negatively affects security performance, and the research calls for strong personality with friendliness and familiarity between leaders and subordinates.
