Abstract:
This study aimed to monitor, describe, and analyze the Arab Communication Studies in crises, through meta-analysis, by analyzing the objective and methodological aspects, theoretical frameworks... etc. The study concluded to a number of general findings such as: 1- The study highlighted the dominance of descriptive studies, then interpretative descriptive studies, exploratory studies, and interpretative studies. 2- The study showed that, the survey method is the dominant approach, then comparative approach, and the case study. 3- The study indicated the dominance of quantitative studies, then qualitative quantitative studies, and qualitative studies. 4- The study revealed that, the questionnaire was the most widely used in data collection, and then the content analysis. 5- The study showed that, the dominant language in the studies is Arabic, and then English. 6- The study found that, the majority of the studies were based on Arabic and foreign references. 7- The study mentioned that, the studies used both paper and digital/electronic references significantly.
