Abstract:
This study aimed to monitor and analyze the relationship between exposure to news sites and the role of these sites in reinforcing university student's attitude towards accepting others, as well as the study aimed to identify the nature and size of following of university students to news sites and its relationship to demographic factors. This study is a descriptive and explanatory study. It used a survey approach, and it was conducted on a sample of student -who used news sites - (300) of three universities in Egypt: Sinai, Menoufiya, and Al-Azhar, using a questionnaire. The study concluded that: - There is a significant correlation between intensity of using news sites and attitude of young Muslim towards accepting non-Muslims. - There is a significant correlation between intensity of using news sites and attitude of young Christian towards accepting Muslims. - There is no a significant correlation between university students who lived in armed conflict areas and their counterparts who lived in non-armed conflict areas in using news sites. - There is a significant correlation between university students who lived in armed conflict areas and their counterparts who lived in non-armed conflict areas in their attitudes towards accepting others.
